Is it the sport bikes seating position or suspension that makes it uncomfortable to ride? Before you ride any bike, you need to ensure, that the hieght of the bike is adjusted , the pegs are adjusted so that you are riding in a comfortable position, vereything on that bike has to be adjusted (including the suspension)to suit you. Yes some bikes are made uncomfortable, but he purpose for them being built was to go fast, no other reason, for the rest make adjustments, before you ride. I have never had a problem. (riding on my own or as a pillion) Usually its the a combo of the riders body and the seating position, smaller people (to a limit) are usually more comfortable, the suspension on bikes isnt that bad actually, at least not on mine (95 Ninja zx6r) Seating position. But every bike is different. I have a Hayabusa and it is the most comfortable sportbike I have ever ridden. of course the seating position coz its made for racing, AND its not uncomfortable dude, but styled to make u active all the time during race otherwise if its too comfortable u'll feel like cruise when smoothness is added. joeyspiky@yahoo.com-(superbike importer in delhi,INDIA) It's mostly the seat position. I'm 6'7" and haven't sat on one yet that was comfortable.I think they were built for midgets. I don't find mine uncomfortable. I might on extremely long rides with no rest period. I ride a ZX-6R I actually like the position as it makes me feel more like part of the bike than when riding a cruiser. |
