I want a sports bike... which one? .....Kawasaki ZX6R, Suzuki GSXR600, or Honda CBR 600? and why? |
I want a sports bike... which one? .....Kawasaki ZX6R, Suzuki GSXR600, or Honda CBR 600? and why? hi. I can only give advise from my own experiances with these bike. the first 600 cc bike was a c.b.r 600. And being my 1st it was ok. But then i got a yamaha yzf r6. Excellent bike. Then i sold it. I dont like suzuki's. And i would not go back to a c.b.r. After ridding the yamie. I now no how bad i thought the c.b.r was to rid. So now i'm going for the zx6r i have been on the back of 1. And they are great bikes. And they look a lot better then the c.b.r and the gsxr 600 . But at the end of the day. It's your choice. but i would go for the zx6r. Happy hunting here we go again gsx-r but i only say that cuz i have one now be prepared to hear the same thing from everyone else about every other bike All of them are good. Check them out and get the one you like. First things first - what do you ride currently? get a sport bike instead I dont know all the new specs for 600cc bikes like weight, ground clearance and horses. I wont bore you with the 30 year history of my love for all bikes but generally a honda sits higher and is reliable. a suzuki handles better since your almost laying on the tank. and any size ninja can usually keep up or beat another same size bike. ninja sits a little higher than gsxr. the question is what type of rides do you go on? mountain curves, long highways, learning some stunts, city streets, you have to figure out where you are most of the time and then decide. I once went from a harley road king to a ninja because we had a baby so wife wasnt on bike alot and I was always alone on rides and wanted to race more often. in 2006 I wanted a goldwing that was $18,500 but the dealer was stuborn about the price so I found a new harley night rod for $14,999 and that dealer sold it to me for $13,700. almost 5 grand less than the goldwing and now im seeing that I made a good choice for alot of reasons. you need to make a choice that fits your needs and dont listen to people because if your like me, a motorcycle is a very personal thing. |
