Bying my first motorcycle and I want a sports bike thinking about a GSX, Katana, CBR or a buell suggestions? |
i want something fast most bikes are any way preferably something 650cc or higher and good on gas what are some used sportsbikes that resale cheap like less than 3000. well that's a wide range of bikes you're thinking about. If you're looking for inexpensive than scratch Buell off the list. the katana isn't much of a sport bike it's a little on the touring side. GXSR... Great bike! But my vote would be the CBR. super reliable,comfortable, forgiving and pretty easy on the wallet. This is only my opinion I'm sure you'll get a lot more. GOOD LUCK, RIDE SAFE Bikes larger than about 550 ccs are not as good on gas as the lower displacement bikes are. And you want something fast?? That tells me you're young. You've got no business on a CBR, GSXR...get yourself a Katana, be comfortable and get yourself some maturity and riding lessons. It's all about staying alive to ride another day. 12 years and 200,000 plus miles on my 2 bikes. Look at a used XB9 Buell or older Buells. I owned a XB9 Lightning and a XB12 Lightning . |
