Where could i find a used sports bike? cycletrader.com ebay. plain and simple. =] ebay.com Is there anywhere else? E-Bay, newspaper, bike shop http://www.craigslist.org http://sfbay.craigslist.org/mcy/... search in your area. I.E San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York. Etc etc Just watch out for scammers, never give money without seeing the vehicle and buy locally in your area. Great deals most of the time. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/mcy/... I would recommend going to your local dealer and asking for bikes on consignment (owner asks dealership to sell bike on their behalf) or scan the local paper. -Make sure to ask to test ride the bike or take a buddy along who knows how to ride the bike. Ask the owner of the bike for a maintenance log and how often they've changed the oil and fluids. -Ask if the bike has been in an accident or dropped and make sure the original frame is on the bike. -Be sure the title is clean. If it's a salvage title you can demand 50% less. Good Luck! |
