How much mileage is too much on a japanese sports bike ?


a 2003 ZX-12R with 22K miles is what I am looking at

It is hard to tell how long a engine will last on anything. Everything varies due to how it was maintained and riden. The only help that I can give you is by recommending that you go to www.kbb.com to see what the value of the motorcycle is.
barley broke in ,if the owner was not thrasing it! I had a 76 hond cb 550 with 70k on it when I sold it! and it was still strong!
A 2003 ZX12R according to www.kbb.com should have approx 20,600 miles on it with that engine size. So it's right around what it should have.
