Are there any automatic transmission sports bikes? |
hey peeps, i have never driven anything manual and want to get a sports bike, are there any automatic bikes available that's cheap and safe to drive?? something between 500-700 ccs A sportbike with an automatic, sounds like a great poser machine. It would be the equivalent of training wheels. Not that I know of. Along time ago there was such a thing as the Hondamatic my mom owned one. But you still had to shift it from 1st to 2nd gear, so it really was never an automatic. The new Yamaha FJR is electric shift, no clutch, but you still have to move the shift lever but it is twice as big as you are looking for you idle american cosseted tosser Learn to drive a manual trans car and then think of your lt. hand your lt. foot and your lt. foot as your right hand for shifting gears. To answer your question, NO! Short answer is no, nothing at all. The FJR is a sport touring bike that while very nice is no where near cheap and is about 1300 cc. You probably wouldnt want one if they made on anyway, kind of defeats the purpose of riding in my opionon Yamaha makes one. go to the dealer and check it out. pretty nice bike, you may find one used in cycle trader magazine. |
