What do you think of the Ninja 250? |
What do you think of the Ninja 250? As a starter bike? Any alternative sport bikes? A mate of mine was killed, in an accident, on one, so i've got a phobia, against them. In any case, though, there's a heap of 'em out there, and to pick one, without riding them all, would be foolish. Get your leg over all of them, then decide. You'll get too many 'brand faithful' answers, on here, to make an objective choice. Be your own judge, not someone elses deciple. What I, or anyone else thinks, about a personal choice, is invalid. Get on every make, and model. If you choose a Ninja, then all good, but maybe it's not the perfect choice, for you. Only you can tell. It's the smallest sport bike, good starter, dependable. The best (if you can find one) would be a Honda VTR 250 Interceptor. Made between 88 and 91 they are fantastic. No comparison to the Kaw...Lotsa Luck ! http://www.bikepics.com/honda/vtr250/90/... the kawasaki ninja 250 is a good bike but its not really fast... to learn your balance and stuff will be good but as far as after you have your motorcycles lisence youll want maybe a ninja 500 or so... the 250 is the first step up from a moped!!! lol.. good luck and im sure youll do fine... i was looking at the ninja... also, if crotch rockets arent your style the honda rebel is a nice cruiser... check it out! Honestly? Most people would be against what i'm about to tell you,but it's from experience. The Ninja 250 is a good bike, but it is extremely frustrating to drive.Belive me after you get the hang of it your going to want to give it away. Its way to slow.My first bike ever was a 600 GSXR,and i did fine on it.I think you'll do fine on it,and it has enough power to make it fun to drive. And it looks really cool, opose to the embarsing 250.I'd go with at least a 500. Get yourself a 600cc or better, and a rice rocket doesn't make a good starter bike, you'll put it in the back of a car. Go for a cruiser-style, something a little more mellow. They go PLENTY fast for the highway... |
