Kawasaki or honda or suzuki or yamaha?

I want to buy a sport bike, and I wanted to take some advice from people who have some experience with any of these bikes.

Much appreciated :)

What cc class bike do you want...600, 1000 or the big heavy weight 1300/1400.

What you need to do is your own research by picking up on some magazines and reading the tests. Motorcycle News is the very best, you won't find them at Borders or Barns & Nobel, etc., but you could find information through your favorite search engine.

What I like or someone else likes and rides are the choices we have in life. You can't go wrong with any one of these Sport Bikes today, quick & fast, great handling and lots of power.

I realy like the Yamaha and Honda 1000cc Sport Bike. Go to Yamaha.com and check out the 2 video clips on the 1000, awesome, you'll love it.

Good luck and ride safe. Source(s): 30+ years as a rider.
I've riden Honda's most of my motorcycle days (over 300k) on 7 Hondas. 2 Kaws, currently have the ZRX1200 and have had 1 Suzie. I would never buy a Suzuki again if that's any indication. I would lean to either the Kaw or the Honda as equals. I don't think you can go wrong with either brand. If you can make it to a bike show before your purchase, that would at least help with getting a feeling for which one is a better fit for you.
They each have their good sides, but it depends on what size engine you want.

If you want a 1000: Yamaha is the quickest, but Honda is the most reliable.

I personally don't like Kawas or Suzukis. I've had friends who owned them, and the Suzis shut off randomly while riding hard.

Bottom-line: The answers here won't really be accurate, because not a single guy will tell you that their bike sucks. They won't admit that they were the sucker and bought a Piece of Crap. They will favor the bike they currently own, because they don't know any better.

If people start talking about crappy handling, then they don't know how to ride. All the Newer bikes will handle differently, because the manufactures focused on different strengths and weaknesses. But all 4 manufactures make nice bikes.

The best thing you can do, is read a few motorcycle reviews from impartial companies, like Cycle World, Motorcyclist, or Sport Rider.

Good Luck!
i have a yamaha yzf-r1 and i love it! it is a great machine. i have yamaha dirt bikes too. in my opinion a person can not go wrong with a yamaha.
