Do all crotch rockets / sports bikes have a manual transmission? In general yes, you will only see scooter-like bikes with (semi) automatic transmission. But there are bike out there like the Ridley and the Boss Hoss with automatic transmission. Furthermore Honda made a concept sports bike in 2005 (DN-01) with a continuously variable automatic transmission. But on my bike trips around this country I have yet to see it parked in front of a cafe. So, unless you will settle with a Ridley (rather small) or a Hoss Boss VERY large - you better learn to handle that clutch and shift. AFAIK - yes, most have at least a 6 speed. Honda made a CB-750A a few years ago with an automatic, but they stopped production 20 years back. they are all 6 speeds now a days this Gilera 250 is also completely automatic. http://www2.muare.vn/forum/oto-xemay/124... The only automatic I recall was a 750 Honda, but that was many years ago, and they stopped production because the trannies were too problematic, I don't know of any automatics currently in production, but I'm not sure, I hope you find what you're looking for.
