Looking for a motorcycle..details listed? |
Im looking for other people suggestions.. My family has always been into the motorcycle seen and im thinking of getting a crotch rocket/sports bike. Im only 5.3 and have a 30 inch inseam so finding a bike that fits my height is extremely hard. Ive been told that all the sports bikes start off at 31 to 32 inches height at the seat. That wont work for me. Ive reasearched about lowering the bike but many people have told me it can be dangerous. It messes up the turning or something. Ive also reasearched trimming the seat but you cant do that on many bikes. Does anyone know of a bike and make that makes them for girls? If you have a bike like this please contact me. Id like to see one thats custom. Thanks Now before you go out and buy any bike, please don't let anyone of your friends and family teaching you to ride, go take a MSF class and use one of their bikes, which is usually free with the class. The Buell Blast (seat height less then 28 inches and lowered about 25.5 inches) to start with is a good bike. If you wish to stay away from the sport bike, Harley makes a XL883L which fits the vertically challenged very well at a height of 27.5 inches. Seat height 30.3 inches , its a 695 cc v-twin. I have a 1995 M900. Its loud, fast and mean looking. Check out the Kawasaki Ninja 250. It's plenty fast (faster than every harley other than a V-Rod) and is less than 3 grand brand new. It's got a 30" seat height and is very manageable and quick. When you get a little more experience under you the ninja 500 is a little faster and actually a little lower seat height at 29". If you need tons of power and need to do wheelies and all that and don't mind a little less than perfect fit and finish the Hyosung Comet 650 is an excellent choice.
