I want to know how to go about learning to ride a motorcycle. Such as a Honda CBR 600.? |
I want to learn about sports bikes in general and I would like some direction of how I can go about that. What type of bike would be good for a begginer. Take the motorcycle safety course offered by the state. It will teach you things that some never learn after years of riding. Learn to ride a dirt bike too first, it helps a lot. Dirt is a lot better to fall on than pavement. When you fall on a sport bike there are cars around you, repairs are costly, and people will run you over. A 600 is a lot of power to an inexperienced rider. I don't know about that as a first bike. People drive like azzholes, and I have known many that have been severely injured or died due to rider inexperience, and/or automobile carelessness. Source(s): I have ridden a lot of bikes 06 r6, 06 cbr rr, gsxr 1000 and a ton of dirt bikes. Your state's department of motor vehicles should offer a motorcycle safety class. I believe that they provide the bike for you. Also, many colleges offer classes similar to this. Start off on a Bicycle, then a Moped, then maybe a Dirt Bike, and then eventually the Rice Rocket. Shark.N.5150 First, I think it is too dangerous to begin with a 600 CBR. There is too much acceleration on this bike and the insurance will be too expensive if you are a young person. Try a Suzuki 650 SV or a Honda 500 CB to learn the basics. They are easier to handle and have fun. Don't forget your helmet! Get a Suzuki SV650 do a track day and then smoke all your friends on your inferior bike. You will learn WAY more about riding a motorcycle by doing one track day. Check the link: |
