What Motorcycle Is best for big blokes? |
I'm 6'7" and 19 stone body builder, I currently have a Bandit 600S which is alright, but i want something quicker but comfortable, most sports bikes i have no chance. Someone with your size needs a cruiser to really get comfortable. If you have to have a sport bike, you will need some customizations, then just because of the nature of the beast you will never quite get comfortable with any distance. A Harley Road King would give you the best bet out of the box, but if you like Japanese bikes, Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha have the best choices for large frames as long as you stay over 1300 CC. buy a Harley,they make one to fit everyone,,they are also the best bike ever the new Triumphs are big, some of them. Trophy, Thunderbird, Rocket-3. You need something that makes some horsepower, that pretty much excludes Harleys. The Triumph Trophy would be one for you to look at. Try Boss Hoss! I feel your pain, although I am only a paltry 6'4", I have found very few bikes that fit worth a ****. And to be honest, Harleys aren't that big. The geometry of the frame, seat, and footpegs make it feel like I am sitting on a moped. Even their big bikes, my dad has an Ultra Classic Police package, feel that way. the bikes that I have found that are comfortable are the Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 and the Yamaha V-star. They are wider than the Harleys are, and are a little longer from seat to pegs. This combination takes up a lot of the extra leg that guys like yourself and I have. |
