Is volunteering at marathons and triathlons a good way to meet guys? |
I used to be very athletic (played varsity sports), and still work out lightly, but a bad knee keeps me from competing or even doing the types of rides and runs I used to do (went from 20-40 mile bike rides to 5-10 miles, etc.). Yet I still like sports, and have the "athletic mind"--is volunteering at the events a good way to stay involved and meet people with like interests? You can meet guys anywhere! but if you want to meet guys with the same interest and hobbies as you then that is what you should do. Volunteer at the marathons. but you can meet guys at the coffee shops, grocery store, bookstore, clothing store, shoe store, clubs, sport events, bars, and the Internet. everyone knows the best place to meet people is the intarweb Yes, you can meet a guy almost anywhere. |
