I am a butch girl who likes to play softball, especially if there are trophies awarded and a keg of beer to tap after the game, and I am a proud member of Dykes on Bikes. Life is good in my opinion.
I had a date with a woman that said she was a multicultural feminist lesbian who sported a world view. She claimed I limited myself by following a stereotypical lifestyle and that my motorcycle riding with my sisters was detrimental to the environment. Gee, if I am enjoying life and not harming others, what's the problem?
There is no problem. You should continue to live your life and enjoy every minute of it. Never allow yourself to be contrained by labels. So many of my friends are lesbians and every one of them is different. Some are like you, some act straight, some very feminine. I think as long as your are comfortable in your own skin their is no reason to conform to others ideals. You lose so much of you spirit and soul when this happens. Be happy, laugh have fun and take some advice from me that has made me happy. It's none of your business what others think about you. Love yourself unconditionally as you are just the way you are meant to be. |
