Do i have to do anything special to remove the back wheel from a Suzuki ap 50 scooter.? |
I Have removed the exhaust and the big nut holding the wheel on but it still will not come off..Anyone have any ideas please? It's the rear wheel i'm talking about. It looks like it slots on to a drive shaft but with the wheels being alloy it's not shifting? If it has drum brakes, the brakes shoes could be stuck to the drum (part of the rim). Try loosening the brakes. The removal of a wheel from a motorcycle is a very serious job that must be done correctly. If your not SURE how it's done then you should aquire the manual for step-by-step instructions on the procedure. It's a life safety issue that affects yourself and others on the road. I don't mean to sound harsh but safety first. Enjoy your scooter!... Pull the axle bolt out. I would agree with both those answers remove axle bolt but please get Manuel for this bike as your safety comes first surly last thing you want is to come off or wreck the bloody thing sorry to be blunt but my 11 year old rides motocross and there not a hope in this world that would if there was problem with any part of it .If you are lucky you might be able to find a manual for this bike at your local dealers Yeah!Loosen off the brakes and tap the axle with a hammer.Be careful not to damage the threads though. |
