Approx.how many miles/kilometers will a 49cc scooter go until it wears out?

I have 25,000 kilometers on my PGO scooter and I can't decided to get it repaired(about $600.00)or invest in a new one.

i would think after 25,000 km. of investing in a new scooter. that is a lot of driving time and a lot of things could be close to wearing out.

THEY'RE NOT FOR LAST LONG THOU MAYBE YOU CAN USE TO VISIT THE NEXT CITY,.. AND YOU MIGHT HAVE TO FOUND OTHER WAY TO COME BACK AND FOR 600.DLS YOU CAN FOUND SOMETHING NEW AND BETTER ON EBAY MAYBE

2 cycle engine, right? $600 seems a bit much. Are you getting a new piston? Now may be the right time if the budget can handle it. Try a Japanese 4 cycle and for longer life get liquid cooled.

My hat is off to you. I can tell that you loved that Scooter due to the amount of miles on it. As to how many miles one could get on a 49cc Scooter depends on whether or not you took great care of the machine. As for if you should invest in repairs of $600.00 or purchase a new one is entirely up to you. However, I must say that it depends on the type of repairs you are looking at. Personally, from a Tech point of view, I would suggest that looking into purchasing another bike would be better. It is hard to ascertain if the parts that can not be seen is wearing down. Please keep in mind that these are very small engines. The materials used to make the mechanical parts are not as strong as what you would find in a Motorcycle. $600.00 would purchase a new engine, and then some other parts as well, why not purchase a new bike totally.

I would save up a little more money and go after another bike. Try to go into a shop and peruse the stock. I work on them and that would be what I would suggest.

Is that all a Chinese scooter is good for ???? Buy a Honda and get 5X the use ans still have something to sell 1o years later. I own 4 Hondas and they are all 20+ years old and all worth as much or more than when they were new.
