I am need a tire replacement and tune up for a Honda scooter. The Honda dealer seems overpriced at $130/hour for labor. Can anyone recommend a motorcycle repair facility that charges less? Or is that price standard for labor? you could bring it to my dad for 130$ flat! lol nah im just joking...i doubt hed be up for that
if you arent mechanically inclined and dont have a mcguyver buddy then im afraid your just going to have to deal with the outragious prices. sorry :(
and plus once you go in to any place in jacksonville they will shine the hell outta you to make a buck....youll go in for an oil change and filter clean and next thing you know "it needs new brakes, tires, the carb needs to be drained" blah blah blah
id really suggest trying to find a savvy friend...so much cheaper.
if you cant find one...then just remember, dont be fooled! if you go in for something dont let them talk you into more unless you feel it truly needs it...and make sure its layed out that what you asked for is what you want...and thats that (my uncle went in for a repair once and was told they couldnt let the bike leave the shop because it needed other repairs...he went in for brakes and ended up leaving paying a buttload of money for unneccasary repairs) |
