I'm about to invest in my first scooter and love the look of both the vintage Vespa and Lambretta (1960s-late 70s). What are the pros and cons of each brand? And is buying a vintage scooter going to be more trouble than it's worth in terms of cost and frequency of repairs? Would I be better off with a modern scooter (even though they don't look nearly as cool!)? Vespa,4 sure...Vintage! They are so cool. I loved mine! Easy to work on, easy to drive. Modern
