Is Kymco a good brand ?

I've been looking at the Kymco agility 50 and the agility 125 and the both look like nice scooters. I've been looking at the yamaha c3 but the 2008 base for the 50 cc is the same as the agility 125cc. both around $ 2,000 dollars.
do the kymco scooters us chinese ( no good ) parts to it ? ( Jus Wonderin ) :-)

They are a Tawainese company, but like the other person said, they are not garbage.....they are a VERY good company. Most people don't know that they've been in the scooter business for over 40 years, and supply just about every major motorcycle company with OEM parts, meaning that your Japanese motorcycle (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, ect.) and American motorcycle (Polaris, Artic Cat, Buell, etc.) use parts manufactured by Kymco........no kidding.

We just bought a Kymco People 150cc scooter 2 weeks ago and love it!!! Absolutely no problems whatsoever and it goes easily 60mph. Kymco is a product made in Taiwan and very high quality. We also had a Yamaha Zuma a few years ago, but this Kymco is best by far. Good luck with your decision...plus Kymco gives 2 year warranty.

The answer is kymco scooters are made in tawaiian and sometimes in china. They are suposed to be excellent scooters but i would stick with a honda or a yamaha because it will be easier to fix. I have personally had two honda scooters in the past and never had one problem with them. Another brand to look into is Piaggio. I have been researching this extensively for the past year so i do know what i am talking about. Good Luck in your scooter purchase.

Personally, I don't care for them.
That's not a reflection on the brand, just my taste.

I was curious, so I looked at all the models they brought to Bike week.
EVERY ONE was labled Made in China. No "(ROC)" after it, either.

I personally know eight Kymco owners (7 B&W250, 1 B&W150) and all of them have nothing but good things to say about them. Most are now riding them for the third season without any issues.

Its pronounced "( KIM-CO )"

I have a Kymco and they are a very good brand. Both the ones you ask about I have ridden and they were fun and easy to ride. Kymco is reliable and well made. They are NOT from main land china and not one of the cheap imports. By the way they are the largest scooter maker in the world.
