Hurt ankle?

i had a little scooter accident.
at first it just hurt cuz it was rly sore and i scraped it.
then it was just whatever. not to bad. but all of the sudden it burned like crazy and i was just walking around. but now about 25 minutes after the accident its a bruisish color all around that knobby point on the inside of my ankle and its swelling a little bit. it burns when i walk on it and every once in a while it just starts burning. i told my mom and she was like "oh if u dont have attention 24/7 ur not happy. ur fine. go away" so im not goin to the doctor. but its starting to hurt a little more. its not like excuriciating pain where i cant walk but yea. it LOOKS (around some parts) like a bursted blood vessel and i dont know if the burning is coming from the scrape or what but it feels like a pull from the bottom of my foot. anywayz i have a track meet 2mrw and its rly important to me so i would much rather not miss. i havent treated it at all so thanks!

You have to get to a medical doctor. This could be a broken ankle because of the bluish color. do not walk on your foot keep it propped up and apply ice packs for ten minutes at a time several times a day. Please show this response to your mother as I am a retired doctor of Naturopathic medicine and I feel this is a urgent situation. You need medical help.
