HELP! I'm trying to decide between two scooters and really have no idea what to do. They are both brand new. The Schwinn comes with a 1 year warranty, the Buddy with a 2 year and roadside assistance. I've been told that the Buddy is manufactured in Taiwan, and the Schwinn's parts come from Japan and it's manufactured in China. I've also been told that the only way to get scooters is from Taiwan.
I'm hoping some of you have experience with either of these scooters and can help me make a decision. Let me know what your experiences have been, good or bad, please!
The MSRP on the Schwinn is apparently about $2,200, and the MSRP on the Buddy is about $2,599. Or maybe $2,499.
I'm buying one tomorrow and can't decide. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks a million in advance. From a "dealer support" perspective . . the Genuine Buddy 125 would be the better choice.
If your budget allowed, the Kymco People S200 with the larger wheels would be an even better 150cc category choice . . take more time to compare.
http://www.strmotorsports.com/showroom/s... Most definitely go with the Buddy!!
Everyone I've known with a Schwinn has problems. Mechanically and even dealers have problems getting parts.. Now on the other hand, Buddy owners love their scooters. You can tell by their forum. Instead of talking about how to fix them, they talk about what accessories to get! http://www.modernbuddy.com |
