Bush will pardon his friend Scooter Libby. Left-wingers will need to be placed in padded rooms to keep from injuring themselves during their rants.
The question: Would you pardon your friend if you had the power?
I want the president to pardon him just to stay on the last nerve of the radical left-wingers. Its amusing to watch.

I would only pardon friends that deserved to be gotten off the hook. For example, I think Rep. Cunningham needs to spend that time in prison, though I think his military service was wonderful. I am disappointed in him that he turned out to be scum. Libby didn't do anything wrong, Plame and Wilson are the villans of that story. Plame lied to Congress and Wilson just plain lied.

I am liberal and I could care less if Libby is pardoned...the damage has already been done in public perception. Plus, Clinton pardoned a bunch of people.

Liberals should not be outraged too much considering Clinton pardoned campaign donor and convicted felon Mark Rich.

No. I would not pardon a friend unless they were wrongfully accused and convicted. I am a person of principles. The president should set the example of being a leader with principles but, we all know he will pardon his buddy as soon as he can.

I find it sad that you wish a criminal could get pardoned just to incite anger in someone with a different point of view than you have.

If I were Bush I would let Scooter Libby serve a short sentence just to reinforce that one does not commit perjury to a grand jury. That is wrong, we need to let people know that Republicans are not above the law, even though democrats commit worse offenses and slap it in our face.

I claim to be a realist, so I cannot belong to either of the two so-called parties, either their militant religious nor their somewhat-worldly wings--both of whose disconcepted 'leaders', in degree, and all their follower, are Medievalists: they are anti-worldly, anti-individual rights, anti-science, and therefore anti-secular, anti liberty and therefore impractical. That's why they can never solve any nation "problem"--the problem is their unrealistic basis of ideas.
