Hi.. i live in michigan, i wanna know if 49cc scooter needs a licence, registration and insurance?

is it allowed to ride on road with any speed limit in michigan? would be gr8 if sum1 could let me know.. thanx

Okay, well you definitely cannot ride anything below 125cc on the expressway. That is really the only downside besides the top speed of a 49cc... which without a modkit, will usually travel at around 40mph (not bad for towns). You don't need insurance, and with a title all you need to do is get a $15 license plate which is good for 3yrs! Also, if you are 21yrs old and up, you can ride without a helmet. Oh, and not to mention that these sweet babies get around 80-90mpg. Oh yeah.
