Is it ok to dirve a scooter after being caught on it with out insurance or license when waiting for a ban?

I have been caught dirving my scooter with out any insurance or a licsence and am not waiting to hear from the police, to possible go to court and get a ban for a peroid of time, but that could take a good few months. Would it be ok if i where to get insurance and a lisence in the time of waiting for the court and drive it on the road. Becasue the ban will not be put in place for ages so would it be illiegel to drive the scooter legally on the road when I am waiting for my ban in the few months??

Maybe, only if you do insure the thing. I was caught last summer riding my motorcycle with no insurance or registration, I did have a drivers license at the time. I was a given a summons to appear in court by the police. I contacted a lawyer, who directed me to insure and register the bike. I did so and when I got to court the judge dropped all the charges and I just had to pay court costs. Thats a lot better than jail time I could have gotten.

Also check to see if insurance is actually required for the vehicle. Most jurisdictions don't require registration or insurance for scooters 50 cc and under.

Why are you worried about it now?? You obviously weren't too concerned about it before,....why start now? Just get on and ride,..maybe you will get caught,....and maybe you won't!
