Insurance question..I have 4 years no claims on my 125cc scooter....?

and I am riding it on a provisonal license in the U.K on a C.B.T certificate. I will pass my U.K driving test soon. Does anyone know if there is an insurance company that will take these four years no claims bonus into account when quoting for car insurance?

the no claim bonus as to earned on the same class vehicle so your no claims bonus on a scooter will never be able to be used an anything other than a scooter or a motorbike

I've had the opposite scenario recently. I've had close to 14 yrs no claims in cars, but have recently started riding a 50cc moped. None of the insurance companies would consider car no-claims for a scooter.

i know when i went to get bike insurance as a new rider i told them i had been driving a car for 20 years without a claim and i ended up with cheaper insurance than my husband who has 5 years NCB on his bike. this is with ebike, who also do car insurance. you could try them.

There is this old man in my office who's lad just got insured on his first car, a Saxo. He said his insurance company accepted a year's no claims from his son driving a scooter. I guess it is a matter of shopping around and getting to the right people. The old bloke's out on holiday otherwise I could have let you know the name of the company.
