im about to buy a scooter and cant find anything on the dmv website in maryland about whether you have to register scooters and have a license plate on one or not beofre you drive on the street ..does anybody know before i call the mva whether you need to register or get licennse plate or insurance to drive one on the streets on maryland.. my bike is a wasp and goes up to 60 mph If your scooter goes over 40 mph you'll need a motorcycle license from MVA-MD. I have a Vespa (similar to a scooter) from Italy and had to get a license and plates for it (by registering it you will get the plates). Oh...and you must have insurance for it. Which isn't costly like a car.
click below: goodness no. Well, if you are talking about kid's foot-pushing scooters. If you refer to motorized ones, then of course you do. in short yes you do |
