Hubby as requred a scooter with a small engine on the back(needs looking at)?

Would not be legal on the road with out insurance tax etc.
But would you be able to ride it and mess about with it on a beach.

not here in Florida, you have to just have a tag. no insurance

Check with your local parks and beach authorities.
Most don't allow motorized vehicles on them.
Find a big parking lot that's closed on the weekends and ride there.

down here in oz we just wat we like with things like that
