My Boreem electric scooter doesn't hold a charge, even after purchasing a new battery, what is the problem?

I have a Boreem scooter that can't charge. What could be the problem/problems. A new battery was purchased for it.

That pretty much leaves the charger at fault.

you should check the cord that goes to the battery to the engine

If you have a new battery then its either one of two problems. or both

the charging system isent working and no charge is being put back into the battery.
or
the electrical system somehow is constantly pulling too much charge from the battery and draining it.

try to find a book simular to the haynes books for cars and rewire the entire electrical system and test all the parts.
