Is there a battery on a 2007 scooter and if there is would that cause it not to turn over? The alarm will go off and the lights come on but it won't turn over. I had to replace my back wheel last week then took it for a drive and went to start it Friday and it wouldn't start. Any one know what might be the problem? Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
If your scooter has a start button on one of the handle bar switches, it has a battery.
When you say "not turn over", do you mean it won't start running, or the engine won't crank/turn/spin? Yes, it has a battery, it`s a 2007 model and your dealer will take care of it!

BTW is your Run/Kill switch set on "run"?
Dont have a dealer? did you buy it online, is it from China? then you are SOL!! Take a big rock and smash your alarm remote. They are notorious for being battery killers. Get yourself a Battery Tender Jr., charge the battery back up and it should be ok. Also, Chinese scooter batteries are crap and you should replace it with a Yuasa battery. |
