i got my son a scooter its a 250w rated at 24v 12ah would using a battery from a wheel chair scooter 12v work or would it mess it up? don't use the 12volt battery, you need the 24volt , 12 ah means the 24volt battery will last 12 hours of service then need a charge, buy a new battery ,and stay with the 12amper/hour battery, if you would try the 12volt the scooter would move very slowly if at all. do your son right and have him enjoy his toy , get the correct battery, do not charge that battery until it is completely dead, this will prolong the life immensely , |
