Can I jump start my car with a 150cc scooter battery?

My car is dead and I have a 150cc scooter. Will it work if I start up the scooter and put jumper cables on the 2?

Not likely...the car's starter pulls WAY more amperage than your lil scooter is capable of putting out. You could damage the scooter charging system, but i won't say that it's likely. I'd not try it, though. Only way would be to run the scooter , and just try to trickle-charge the car battery, assuming the scooter uses a 12v system. Otherwise, best not to try it.

don't think so. Is the scooter a 12 volt? I think it would put too much of a drain on it, try to find another car to use.

No, that battery does not have the capacity to start a car engine.

no you don't have enough cranking amps in it to help start the car,it may also ruin the battery in the scooter,because of the low amperage it has,i don't think id try this,good luck.

I doubt very much, the scooter battery lacks the power (amps) to generate enough current to turn your starter and motor, this applies whether the scooter is running or not.. if you do try it be careful not to blow the scooter circuit etc Good luck
