I'd like to have the scooter cost less than about $1000 to make. If you are asking this question here it's probably too dangerous for you to try this by yourself.
For your second question though, there is no reason that a scooter couldn't be both solar AND rechargeable, and that is probably how you'd want to do it anyway. The solar cells would recharge the battery, but since you wouldn't have room to put enough solar cells on a scooter to keep it powered up all the time you would need to plug it in every so often to keep it charged up.
If you must go with one or the other then solar is not practical by itself, the sun is not always shining and you could not fit enough cells on a scooter to keep it running at more than a crawl. |
