How long will a battery that is not recharge last in a rechargeable scooter?

I have a scoter ?min-bike that had a rechage able battery but the chargeable one would not take no more charge so I put in a real battery how long will it last

All batteries are essentially rechargeable, though since your scooter is electric, it is probably able to hold a high charge.

On a Gas Vehicle:
A normal battery is basically for starting the vehicle and running electronics when the engine is off. The alternator provides the power for the vehicle when it is running. The alternator also keeps the battery charged up, or recharges the battery as you drive.

On an Electric Vehicle:
The battery provides the power to run the engine, though there may be an in line generator to give some charge to the battery as it moves. A regular battery is not designed to provide this much power over such an extended period of time, so your running time will be cut down significantly.

It depends on the size of the battery and the amount of amps the scooter needs, but don't be surprised if you get only 10%-25% of your usual travel time.

What's up with all the scooter questions! Hmmm...Might be our only choice of transportation if gas prices keep going the way they are going!!

depends how much you use it

depends on the quality of the battery(there are different qualities)and weather temps, also how you take care of it...could be 6 months, could be 2 years
