Electric scooter or motor scooter? |
I want to buy a scooter, but I don't know the pro/cons. Will a full "tank or battery" last as long as I need it to? 8 miles to school, 8 miles back. Anyone able to give me some advice? Also, how much is a good deal for one? take the one with a battery. it is less of a pain to charge it all night instead of blowing money on gas. I have a 125cc gas scooter it get about 70 miles to the gallon so I don't think you run out of gas going to and from school also my insurance is only $124 a year but I live in a rural area and am much older then you . It will go 65 mph on straight stretches . Hope this helps. Report It I paid 1600 for mine and it was new I would shop around Report It none a battery powered scooter is hrdly big enough to do commuting. you need a gas powered scooter. gas scooters could make your trip. they're alot funner than electrics too. you could also ride the gas in the rain and not have the image of youveing electircuted going down the road. go for the gas!
