Wiring up a soundsystem on a scooter?

Hi, i have a scooter, and 2 PC speekers, the PC speekers have the yellow and red ends on them, i wanted to know what stuff i would need to wire them up to my battery and get sound into those speekers.

on my scooter i installed two pc speakers, im just gonna tell you what i did and hope you get the idea, i dismounted the speakers from where they are installed went directly and installed them on the scooter , i installed them in some special crap i made but you could make holes on the scooter and install them i installed the mini amp it comes with in the pocket right in front of your knees when you sit, made a hole into the compartiment and passed the pre-cut power cable through there, the power cable then i extended with some 12 gauge cable wiring it all the way to the trunk under the seat where i have 3 6 volt batteries wired in series to give me a total of 18 volts of power for the radio velcro-ed down same as the speakers and mini amp afterwards i pluged the speakers and the power cable and i was riding listening to my favorite music on my mp3 player , if you want i could somtime in the future send you some pics right now im remaking the speakers enclosures , the ones i had were not blocking distorsion well, contact me at piporob2001@homtail.com

lol dont do that, and computer speakers? lol wearing a helmet? sorry to say its not a bright idea might as well wear head phones

You don't provide enough info ( and you may not be able to) to really give you an answer. If you have a local electronics repair shop in town, they may be able to help you.

It's one of those "must see to know" kind of things.

Besides, if you ever get caught in the rain, there goes your speakers.

Putting PC speakers could be more complicated than it looks, why dont you get some scooter speakers in any audio shop??

a friend did something similar to his old Honda Spree. He bought some cheap marine style 5 1/4 speakers and a pullout(yeah this was a while ago) marine cassette deck. Just had to fab up a place to mount the radio and little pods for the speakers. Lots of fiberglass work and a little cutting of the body panels to put it in the space around the knees. It was funny, but it worked just fine.
