My scooter wont start?

its a 50cc Peugot Jet force - could it be the battery, immobilizer or kill switch? its turns over (then dies with out starting). Does it need to be off the stand to start it?

the two extremes.
too much gas.
no gas at all.

squirt some petrol down the carberretta if the bike starts and then dies again your carberretta needs replacing
