In the USA & I'm looking to buy a new "hybrid" bike for $350. Any recommendations b/t Schwinn, Trek, &Raleigh? There are literally hundreds of manufactures out there. odds are that you would be happy with most of them. The best thing I can recommend is to get around to as many bike shops as you can and check as many as you can out. I would also suggest a look at flat bar road bikes as well. When making your decision concentrate on price component level warranty and service. Really there is very little between most brands so it could come down to something lame like colour. good luck and happy searching cannondale etc. made in USA raleigh would be good if they are made in england but they may have gone the way of fast bucks through slave utilization made in china style which is cheap but still not as good as somthing made in japan or the old USofA or france of belgium or holland It's probably best to try out different ones and see how they fit and ride. My friend just bought a Raleigh hybrid two weeks ago and she loves it. Very comfortable ride for her. You realy hurt my feelings. |
