Which bike has the best value- Schwinn or Mongoose? |
If you have a suggestion on the question, and if you go for one of the bikes, tell me your cons and pros and both bikes and why you think this and that. Thank You The fact is that those two bike companys are no longer any good. They used to be until they sold out to walmart and k-mart. There is no value in those bikes anymore. Try getting a DK for a quality bike. The parts on the mongoose and schwinn bikes are very cheaply built and dont last very long. You will never get any real use out of them. Both Bikes are flat out crap unless you buy a mongoose above $1000 you might as well castrate your self dont buy these bikes or u will end up a unic If you're talking about the bikes sold at Walmart, both are junk as far as quality is concerned. They won't hold up with serious adult riding. They are bottom end bikes. Those sold at a bike shop are another matter. If it does'nt have a quick release both front and back, you'll know it's a low end bike. i disagree with necro down there because just because a certain store sells that kind of bike, does NOT necessarily mean that those are low-quality bikes. But, if i had to chose between mongoose and schwinn i would definitely chose schwinn =) brain XD I have a mongoose,all three thousand pounds of it. Mountainbikes are heavyer than road bikes, they got to be to put up with more abuse they get put through Low price bikes weigh a lot less than their higher priced light counterparts. |
