What is the e-mail addres i can contact schwinn bikes at to express my... displeasure?? |
I have had numerous problems with my bike and i would like to contact them via e-mail. EDIT- The Mesa is a good bike. This means that the techs at the store that you got it from are not very good. This is not a common thing at Dick's since they usually spend a lot of money to draw in professional mechanics for their stores... a bike tech at Dick's makes as much as $18 an hour depending on the store! Ask for the STORE manager, and then request the phone number of the DISTRICT manager... don't take 'no' for an answer. Tell the district manager the problems starting from the time you bought the bike. If you still have problems email me and I'll try my contacts at Dick's. END EDIT Schwinn is owned by a company called Pacific Cycle. Their direct email is CustomerService@pacific-cycle.... . It is very important to keep to the subject and avoid attacking the company if you want to get anywhere. I used to have a contact there named Bob Habersaat but am unsure if he left the company. If you purchased your Schwinn at a discount store such as Walmart or Target you must remember that these are entry level bikes, and if you are using it for anything other than occasional on-road transportation you are exceeding it's intended use... this is stated in the owners manual. On top of that, the assemblers employed by stores like this are-shall we say-usually less than competent. I've found through experience that the vast majority of problems are due to the assembler and lack of knowledge in how to adjust a bike rather than the bike itself. 90% of these issues can often be taken care of by a competent tech in less than 15 minutes. The remainder is due to purchasing the wrong bike for the intended use. Buying a bike for less than what it costs for a steak dinner for 4 at a good restaraunt should tip you off on the quality... unfortunately they often end up in the same place, in the same amount of time. If you'd like I'd be happy to give you a heads-up on assembler versus bike issues if you want to email me at mirageguitarworks@yahoo.com with your complaints. I don't work for Pacific but will be happy to give you a hand to sort everything out. For those that don't like Schwinn... keep in mind that Pacific also owns GT and Mongoose. Source(s): 27 years in the industry try planetfeedback.com, its a consumer complaint website that lets you send a message to the company for free. They also offer editing and assistance with drafting your letter so that it gets the most attention. so sorry you had to go through the buying a pile of s.h.i.t. ******* shuinnchi china bike, they will not bring you any justice they are chinese slaves You'll have to find someone who can write Chinese! Schwinn bikes are now mostly made in China by people making about 12 cents an hour. No kidding ! I'll guess you got it from Walmart or a store like it. Those bikes are junk. Schwiinn does make better quality bikes, but they'll cost you over $700+. In the 1960's this was an all American bike every kid wanted. That's history. Got this from Schwinn's website ...
