Schwinn help?

i have a schwinn aluminum comp frame and want to put good components on this bike not sure what i need? crankset and gears are the biggest issue

I would suggest that you come up with a budget for parts- you'll need everything- and buy a new bike with that money.

High quality crank, front and rear derailleurs, shifters, chain, bottom bracket, and cassette can easily cost you $800 or more... and you'll still have your old frame.

Although upgrading a bike is extremely satisfying, it is also horribly uneconomical. Your frame, although it isn't nasty to the point of trash, really doesn't deserve new parts. Source(s): 27 years in the industry

pedal
crankset
gears
deraillers
shifters

and so on...
Go to the bikeforums.net and ask in the mechanics section. Lots of experience and good help there.
