I am trying to decide, which bike makes more sense to buy.? |
It is between the schwinn s-25 (cost $199) and the schwinn s-60 (cost $249). Is the $50 bump in price for the s-60 worth it??? the s25 is at least 50 bucks better than the other one. Depends on how many miles you plan to put on the bike. The more miles you do the better componants you want. Usually the upgrade is worth it in the long run. Just check their features---do they have Shimano Deore LX, Alivio or XT( its BEST you look at the DRIVETRAIN )? Or if the other goods are quality gears? Schwinn is a fine brand ( though I suggest a real major upgrade on the vital parts----shifters, brakes, pedals and 8/9 speed freewheel cogs! ) Buy them at bargain prices in Blue Sky Cycling website (www.blueskycycling.com ) so you will buy at lower prices! Buy the most expensive bike you are willing to cough up the money for. That way, when it comes time to sell it, you will be able to get more for it. |
