How much is a schwinn bicycle made in February 1972 (made in Chicago) worth? bike is in good condition? |
Not sure what the name of the bike is - it's green and has fenders. If you could give a little more detail... 1) Does it have a name on the chainguard? 2) Are the fenders chrome or painted? 3) What size wheels? The size is molded in the side of the tire. 4) Does it have multiple speeds? If so, how many? 5) If it is a single speed, check the little arm that is attached to the back wheel and the frame. What does it say? 6) How are you certain it is a February 72 bike? If it is, the serial number should start with BH. If it doesn't start with BH, what are the letters? 7) Boys/mens or girls/womens? Provide this info and I can help you out. Source(s): 27 years in the industry Without knowing what it is I don't have a clue. I will say there are millions of old Schwinns around, many 10 speed types from that era go for $100, many times less. Check EBay - there are usually a dozen or so for sale at any given time. Sorry can't actually have an idea 'cause you actually don't know/won't state anything about the bike to let someone actually have an idea... get it? Between $75.00 and $125.00 |
