Any Good Ideas on How to Lock Up a Small Electric Scooter?

It's a Schwinn S500 electric scooter. Here's a pic link: http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I... . It's a little thing, weighing about 60 pounds. Do you think a simple chain or U-lock would be enough to secure it to a bike rack or pole? Where should I loop it through? I'll be riding one to work soon, and I need a good way to keep it from getting stolen or tampered with. (I'll probably take the seat off. I don't think I'd use it, and all you have to do to remove it is lift up. XD) Any bright ideas? Or anyone with experience? Thanks~!

Take the batteries out.

A cable lock through the neck (under the schwinn sticker) should be good enough. If you get a springy one you can coil it around the seat post for storage But remember locks only keep out honest people.

a good padlock and chain helps,but if they really want it,theres nothing you can do about it

Put it under your bed.
