Does anyone Rember What a Schwinn Black Phantom bicycle Cost in the 1950's ? |
I Sold a Pony I had Won at the Caraval and My uncle Got Me a Schwinn Black Phantom bicycle for the money in the 1950's Which I Loved and When I Came Back from Working Out West in The Mid 1960's I Discovered My brother Had Loaned it to one of his friends and I Never saw it again ~ I wished I still had that bike as it was the best ridding bike I ever Rode. I still don't rember What the Bike Cost as My Uncle got it at a Discount for me. Does anyone Rember the Actual selling price? Schwinn was at one time, the most expensive bicycle. In 1965, a Schwinn cost over $100, and that was a lot of money then. So, in the 50's probably around $150 - $200. |
