Need help on my Road Bike Shoe size.? |
I bought this http://www.performancebike.com/shop/prof... Shoe from Performancebike.com and started to use it from today. But it seems like the inside walls are little too tight or narrow. I wear US size 9 for Tennis and this shoe is also Size US 9. Do you think the road shoe stretch little bit with regular use? If not, I will end up with lots of Hotspots! That's probably the reason it was on closeout. Road shoes do tend to run narrow. I wear a 81/2EE running shoe so I too have a problem with narrow road shoes. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I have had much better luck at the higher end of the price point. I now ride in Shimano's high end road shoe (R215)with great comfort and proformance. Good luck If they're tight now, they won't stretch enough to fit over time. Bike shoes, like all shoes, vary wildly in fit. Even shoes of the same model and size can fit differently due to quality control and individual variations. Bottom line: Shoes, more than any other bike item, are something you need to try on. If you find a pair you like, buy them on the spot even at full price. Shopping for shoes by price or online is a recipe for miles of discomfort, and that will make you dislike cycling. You only touch the bike in five places, and 40% of them are your feet. i don't know if performance will take back shoes, but if they will, return them and get your money back, it's impossible to buy any sort of shoe on line and certainly not cycling shoes, live and learn no it will not strecth enough to make it bearable |
