How do I refurbish my old aluminum road bike? (The metal looks dull and dirty.)?

I have a Cannondale R900 that's 10+ years old. While I have upgraded the components, the frame looks dingy. Is there any way to restore the shine to the bike to make it look like new?

Trek (and their subsidiary Wrench Force) makes the best bike polish. You can spend 5 minutes on it and make it look okay, or you can spend an hour and make it look spectacular. It's made by Wrench Force and I think it's just called "frame polish."
If the bike frame is polished aluminum, go to the auto parts store and get some aluminum wheel polish. Start rubbing.
I know that you can buy the 00 steal pads and that will clean up the chrome.
I have tried this on my chrome on my truck.
