What is the best choice for a leisure road bike, and want to go full carbon??

I am getting back into cycling for my leisure fun, but making it a work out to keep in shape. I wish to get a full carbon bike and would like to stay in the $1200.00 range. I will not ever use it to compete or race, but maybe charity fund raisers. I have my eyes set on a Giant TCR 3 and is reg $1800 for $1200.
Is there a better choice for the price????
Thanks for the replys

Any bike in that price range made by a major manufacturer is going to be a good bike and have descent components. The real decission should be made by riding the bike and not by what components are installed. Take it for a ride -- if it feels good and is comfortable for you then it is the right bike. You are getting the bike for only 66% of the regular price -- that is a good deal if you like the bike. Source(s): 37 years building, repairing and restoring bicycles
On a value for money basis the TCR3 will be hard to beat. One thing Giant do well is spec bikes with good componentry. eg When they say Ultegra that's what you get right through. No killer component padded out with lesser parts. You will not regret buying the TCR.
honestly, i dont feel the name of the frame is all that important. one is pretty much the same as the next, and i like to focus on features for the money. a full carbon for 1200 is a good deal. i havent seen any in that range in a year or more. (been kind of eyeing a carbon fiber for myself) my brother rides a giant, and it has served him very well. i think it would be a good choice.
Check out this site bikesdirect.com. They are a on-line seller they have some great deals. The Giant would also be a great choice.
There just might be a better choice. I bought my oldest son a Felt F5. Full carbon frame, good geometry, a mix between Ultegra and the new 105 10 speed drive train which is as good as the old Ultegra. It also had a decent wheel set as well. After buying him that bike his stats went WAY up. If you want to spend a little more money, you can't beat the Pinarello F3-13 (not the F4-15 too expensive) that's the bike I have. I test rode everything too, all the high end bikes (Look, Colnago, Time, BMC, Scott) and I still liked the Pinarello the best by far, great geometry. I saved enough cash to upgrade the crankset and the wheels too.
$1200 sounds like an excellent deal. I really notice the difference on rough pavement! Feels like riding on a pillow.
