I am 5'10" and I want to know what size bike frame I would need for a road bike.?

I am looking at a bike that I can get either a 22.5"/57cm or 25"/57cm?? Which one should I get.

it depends on your inseam and where your knees are when the pedal is at dead bottom. I'm 5'8" w/ 30.5" inseam and i ride a 19.5" when i hit bottom by leg is usually at 65 to 70 bend which is best for riding a long time. I ride 12 miles a day home 2 work & back, and i could ride longer if i wanted to because my hips and knees aren't stressed. hope this helps you out.
The frame should be 1-2" below your crotch when straddling the frame.
road bikes are picky when it comes to sizing, especially in the inseam. im exactly 5' 10.5", and if i could afford a road bike, it would a 56cm.
i used to work at a bike shop so i had lots of time to try out all the bikes.
depending on the style and make, 54 to 56 should work
BUT go to your local bike shop and "get fitted" to be absolutely sure
it is worth the extra time and effort for longer safer riding

You need to get fitted at a professional calibre shop. Road bike fit is as much an art as it is a science. Not only do you have to worry about height, but length and geometry play as big a role. Check out the fit calculator on competitivecyclist.com, but definitely go to a shop.
