TIA, Jacobg31 You'll have to supply more information. In what mode for instance, is this figure displayed? Is the figure the result of a ride, or some value that is required to set up your computer? Ask again giving full details. FOLLOW UP COMMENTS: Further to your adding additional information, the figure appears to be your cumulative ride distance (i.e. the mileage since you started using the computer unless you've reset the distance data between rides). Would it be realistic that at the time you wrote the question you'd done just a fraction over 8 miles with the computer? If not, check the computer is on when you're riding and that it is picking up the signal from the wheel sensor OK. The minumum options should be roughly as follows: DIST (or TRIP) - How far you've ridden since you last reset your trip data. ODO - (Odometer) - How far you've done cumulatively since you started using the computer (or since you last fully reset all its data) AVG - the average speed over the DIST covered - this reads in real time and therefore changes during the ride. It is an excellent training aid over a fixed route - always try to beat your last average. MAX - the highest speed you reached during the last ride (or since you last reset the data). TIME - the duration of your last ride and / or time of day Some computers also have cadence - the number of rotations at the pedals - again, an important training aid. Some also measure heart rate, elevation above sea level, compass bearing etc. Soon they'll do the pedalling for you. Finally - why not enter the exact name and model of your computer into Google - add the word 'Manual' and see what comes up.
