What road bike would you recommend for under 300 dollars? |
What road bike would you recommend for under 300 dollars? although its heavy and is a horrible bike, for $150 at wal-mart you can buy a Kent GMC Denali road bike. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d... At that price, frame and components both would have to be sketchy. just like the post before me, I wouldn't recommend any road bike under 300 bucks, unless you are buying a used one... unfortunately you need to spend at least 600 to 800 for quality check out Trek, the KHS Flite series, Giant's OCR series, and the Specialized Allez http://www.specialized.com I would agree with the above Answer. The Giant OCR or the Trek 1000 line is a great choice. However, I would highly consider the Forge CTS 1000 road bike, http://www.forgebikes.com I own the the Forge Sawback 5xx Mountain and the M Street, both are excellent bikes! From what I hear on reviews their road bike is just as superior. Check out their components, they also use a very nice compact road frame. Work in bike shop. Been biking for over 20 years. |
